Day 28-

Awakening to a steady rain, we decided to pass on our trip to the Zoo at Hershey and head straight for Philadelphia.

Forsaking the PA turnpike for a more scenic route, we traversed the rolling farmlands and colonial architecture of eastern Pennsylvania. (I didn't have a picture of rolling hills, so I figured this goofy face would fill the vacancy....)

Coming into Philadelphia via the suburbs, we were treated to a view of the inner city most tourists don't see. Then the true adventure of the day - FINDING A PLACE TO PARK an 11 foot tall, 29 foot long RV in a city parking garage. After a few tries, we found a place only a block beyond Washington Park.

Requiring sustenance, we stumbled into the Philadelphia Fish & Co. Feeling refreshed, we visited the NP Visitors Center for some colonial hats.

Next we visited the Liberty Bell Pavilion and Independence Hall.

A light rain followed us back to the RV as we made our escape across the Ben Franklin Bridge and up to Jackson NJ to camp for the night.
